This was a really interesting project to be involved with, and required us to relocate the existing kitchen to a different part of the room – the previous layout just didn’t work for our customers who like to cook and entertain whilst enjoying the stunning views across the countryside.
The most involved part of the reconfiguration was getting drainage to the new sink location, which required us to dig up the floor. The rest was relatively easy, and this classic peninsula layout now works perfectly. Our Kensington shaker doors paired with Cimstone Britannica quartz worktops combine to give a contemporary feel which compliments the space beatifully. The appliances are Bosch, with the exception of the Elica NikolaTesla recirculating hob which uses state of the art ceramic filters to remove cooking smells from the open plan space without needing to be ducted externally, which was just not possible in this instance.
A large bank of larders with full height doors gives masses of storage space, and the hide-away cocktail cabinet is perfect for entertaining. All in all this was a great project to work on, and we’re sure you’ll agree that the finished result is nothing short of stunning!
