When our clients James and Clair decided to update their tired oak kitchen, they wanted something that was contemporary, but would stand the test of time. Our Solva range is a wide-framed take on the standard shaker door, and shown here in Lava,it looks stunning.
They fell in love with the Silestone Calacatta Gold worktop, which contrasts wonderfully with the Lava doors. The Calacatta Gold was also used as slab ends on the island to create a striking centrepiece. The worktop was also used to create yet more wow factor by lining the 1810 Axis sink.
When it came to appliances, the Elica NikolaTesla extracting hob was used to enable the placement of the hob in the island. This then meant we could have a bank of larder units, incorporating loads of useful storage, and the appliances – which included the Bosch integrated coffee machine, a feature that James was particularly fond of!
To finish things off, we created a fitted sideboard at the other end of the room to match the furniture of the main kitchen. </p
